Healthy Detox Diet Tips

- 5-10 Servings of fresh organic vegetables, daily
- 2-4 servings of fresh fruits, daily
- 2-4 Servings of various proteins, daily...such as...
- 1-2 servings of legumes (beans, peas, lentils)
- 3-4 servings of fish per week (eat fresh caught NOT farm raised, eat a small handful of nuts/seeds)
- 4-6 more more servings of whole grains (Gluten free grain high in fiber and complex carbohydrates is brown rice)
- 8oz (at least) of fresh water, DAILY!
- It is ideal to drink half your body weight in ounces. For example, Someone weighing 150lbs should drink at least 75oz of water, daily.
- Wash your fruits and vegetables thoroughly, as parasites eggs are often ingested via dirty produce! A parasite cleanse is recommended as you go on to detox your whole body.

- Eat gluten free foods (High gluten grains include Wheat, Oats, Rye and Barley) Brown rice is a great gluten free choice.
- Drink properly filtered water (reverse osmosis or distilled)
- Do not overeat
- Eat slowly and (listen to your body, it takes 20 minutes to notice whether or not your are full) chew your food slowly.
- Cook in stainless steel, glass or porcelain, as to minimize toxic chemical intake
- DO NOT cook with Olive Oil as popularly advised, instead cook with coconut oil or a good vegetable oil
- Breath in fresh air, exercise and get the blood pumping...break a sweat daily or at least 3 times a week for a minimum of 30 minutes. Make it fun, social and engaging.
